Boston Renegades Announce New Home Stadium at Catholic Memorial School
Renegades to play at O’Connor Stadium

BOSTON – Wednesday, February 8, 2017 – The Boston Renegades women’s tackle football team is making Catholic Memorial School in Boston its new home. The partnership was announced by Catholic Memorial Athletic Director Craig Najarian as the Renegades began their off-season training at the school’s athletic facility.

“Our partnership with the Renegades represents our desire to build bridges and relationships with outside groups who are both passionate and committed to excellence,” said Najarian. “We have a lot of respect for the entire Renegades organization; their love of the game and their desire to build a fun and family friendly atmosphere here at Catholic Memorial this spring is very exciting.”

Catholic Memorial will host the team’s home games at James R. O’Connor Stadium. Known colloquially as “the O.C.,” the stadium was dedicated in 2011 in honor of the school’s first varsity football coach. The Renegades will also be using the school’s athletic facilities for preseason training and regular practices.

“The Boston Renegades are excited to join forces with the Catholic Memorial community as we start our quest for a championship in 2017,” said Molly Goodwin, Owner/Executive of the Boston Renegades.

The Renegades’ season runs from April through June. They will face the Montreal Blitz in their first home game at O’Connor Stadium on April 29. In addition to four regular season home games, two playoff games will be played at O’Connor Stadium if necessary.
