“I love to compete. And I love to be a part of a team. Football is the perfect combination of both of these,” say Tully, a wide receiver and All-American kicker for the Renegades.
“Being from [New England], there’s such a culture of having so much pride in our athletics,” Tully told WickedLocal’s Tim Dumas. “It’s so cool to be a part of that and to have so many like-minded athletes around. It’s been a privilege and an honor to be a part of that culture.”
Fueled by a competitive drive, Tully played soccer, ice hockey, and lacrosse at Chelmsford (Mass.) High School before continuing her soccer career at Endicott College. As a midfielder at Endicott in 2009, her sophomore season, the Gulls went more than 1,000 minutes (11-plus games) without surrendering a goal, the longest streak in the nation that year.
