Originally a member of the 2002 Massachusetts Mutiny of the National Women’s Football Association, Casey is now entering her 20th playing season. Having competed at times in both spring and fall football leagues, Casey is one of the sport’s most experienced players. In 2012, she was selected as an IWFL All-Star, and recognized by her team as the New England Intensity Defensive Player of the Year. She was again an IWFL All-Star in 2013, and earned the New England Intensity Coach’s Award. In 2014, she was named a WFA All-American, earned recognition as the Boston Militia Defensive Player of the Year, and won a national championship title. She became a member of Boston Women’s Football’s “100 Club” in 2018 with the Boston Renegades in addition to winning her second league title.
Prior to football, Casey was a volleyball and basketball player at Bridgewater State College, where she also played rugby. She is from Lawrence, Mass.
