Donny Fournier Headshot

“I hadn’t played on a competitive team since college and I’ve always loved the team atmosphere so wanted to get back into something meaningful,” said Danielle Fournier of joining the Renegades. “I’ve never felt so alive as I do when I am on that field, and knowing you have teammates who feel the exact same way and that are there for you every step of the way is an amazing feeling.” She quickly became a force on the defensive line as a rookie starter in 2018.

Danielle Fournier played rugby at the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated in 2014. At North Andover (Mass.) High School, Fournier played basketball and had a stellar softball career where she was named a team captain, Rookie of the Year, and a Cape Ann League All-Star. She takes much pride in her practice of weightlifting and aspires to operate a gym in the future.

Since joining the Renegades in 2018, Fournier has put together back-to-back All-American performances in 2019 and 2021. In 2021, she was voted WFA National Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

Fournier is also a member of the U.S. Women’s National Football Team. The team won the gold medal at the 2022 IFAF Women’s World Championship.
