Kathryn Tylander (2016)

Kathryn “Ty” Tylander has over a decade of experience in women’s football and was a three-time national champion with the Boston Militia before winning her fourth, fifth, and six titles as a Renegade. Additionally Ty joined the Boston Women’s Football “100 Club” with a win over the Baltimore Nighthawks on May 22, 2021.

Prior to football, Tylander was goalkeeper for Harvard University’s women’s lacrosse team (NCAA Div I). Tylander was a four-year letter winner and team captain, and ranks in the program’s top ten in saves per season and saves (career). Hailing from Alexandria, Va., she also played lacrosse at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School where she was a league champion and remains the program’s all-time saves leader. Tylander also represented the United States as a member of the 2003 U19 World Cup Women’s Lacrosse Team.
