Young’s background in athletics includes dance, volleyball, and track while a student at Snowden International High School in Boston, Mass. She believes that “football is a way to let women and girls know that they can do anything they set their minds to.” She puts that belief into practice not only as a football player, but as a staff member of the Winsor School Athletics Department, and as a mother to three girls. She aspires to one day own a restaurant and event planning company.
